MEDIA EDITING
Although not regularly a core part of my professional roles, I'm no stranger to Audio and Video editing. Editing talks for internet release, cutting together audio files into a radio-play, collating footage from a youth event into a video, or editing audio files for an educational CD-ROM, there's just lots of times in Multimedia where you need to roll up your sleeves and start trimming the "Ummm's" out of a recording.

Below are a couple of episodes of "The Pirate King" - a rough draft radio play done for 107.9 FM as a proof of concept (adapted from an old kids program). This wasn't the final cut with full radio effects lab - this was just me, some rough audio, a copy of "Audacity", and whatever sound effects I could scrounge off the internet. But given that, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
